Recreating Kate Bush’s “Hounds of Love” album cover

I wouldn’t say I’m a super fan of Kate Bush (though I enjoy a few of her songs), but I do have a mild obsession with her album cover for “Hounds of Love.” Having to generate content for my first blog post, I thought that was a good enough excuse to recreate the photo with my two dogs Murphy (left) and Chino (right). To my prediction, the dogs went insane and I couldn’t get them in the right position for the picture. So I cut and paste pictures of my dogs separately with the help of Procreate. I also added a pastel overlay to get a similar shade on the bedsheets. Props to my husband for taking photos, and to Kate Bush for having the ultimate ethereal vibe .
